- I have 17 years of combined nanny / home daycare / preschool teacher / personal parenting experience.
- CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Universal Precautions Certified.
- As a member of a state-sponsored food program, I provide nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks with lots of variety, and I buy whole-grain and organic whenever possible. I make fresh, tasty, homemade meals that are served family-style at the table. I believe that good nutrition in early childhood is a cornerstone to building lifelong healthy eating habits.
I currently have:
One before/after school opening
for an Erie Elementary or future Black Rock Elementary student.
(This will be a full time spot during the summer for a child who is enrolled in kindergarten or older.)
Arnold Family Childcare is a licensed child care home located in the Grandview neighborhood of Erie, CO. Our neighborhood has four great parks and is within walking distance of the new Erie recreation center and library.
We live in a nice, newer home
that is clean, smoke-free, and pet-free except for two toads!
Our home is fully child-proofed.
We have a large ground-level deck and a wonderful playground area
in the fenced backyard.
My goal is to nurture your child's creativity and personal growth and do everything with a sense of fun! Our small-group environment is very hands-on and family-like.
Your child will receive lots of one-on-one attention!
We spend our days doing art projects, reading stories, singing songs, ABCs, puzzles, counting, and lots of imaginative play. We also have a
daily preschool program with a
new theme each week!
We focus on working well together, sharing, and treating each other with respect. I believe that children learn what they live and that they should be treated with kindness and dignity.
